Keeping Ourselves Safe

Lately, room 8 has been doing a program called Keeping Ourselves Safe. One of the things we have been doing is No Excuse For Abuse. We learned all of the different types of abuse and why they are not ok. Here they are:
-Cyber abuse
-Emotional abuse
-Physical abuse
-Neglect
-Family violence
-Sexual abuse

We have had both Constable Anna and Constable Pip come and talk to us. We are learning a lot about keeping ourselves and others safe in lots of different ways.

Beach Clean Up

Beach Clean Up Tuesday the 25th of February Beach Clean Up was fun and hot. We helped the environment. We all got wet along the way walking through cold water but it was refreshing. We picked up lots of rubbish. We worked as a team.  After the beach clean up we walked to Corbett Park and had a sausage and played games.
