Oakura School Room Tawa 2022

Swim Safety The Year 6s had three sessions at the Aquatic Centre funded for us. We completed a variety of activities including pulling people to safety, pulling people into a boat, falling safely out of a boat and off the side of the pool and swimming endurance. We worked really hard but it was a lot of fun as well.

Music This term we have had weekly music sessions. We have been working with Sam our specialist music teacher. We have written songs and chosen music to go with it. This week on Monday we performed to our team as it was the last session for the term. We worked really hard on these. Mrs Batley was proud of our performances.
