ANZAC Baking

At the start of the term we made ANZAC biscuits. As part of our classroom culture we chose different days and events that we thought were important and discussed how we would celebrate and remember those days. We chose baking ANZAC biscuits which was a lot of fun and they tasted great! We also completed research, writing, and art activities to help us learn more about why ANZAC day is important to New Zealanders.

Beach Clean Up

Beach Clean Up Tuesday the 25th of February Beach Clean Up was fun and hot. We helped the environment. We all got wet along the way walking through cold water but it was refreshing. We picked up lots of rubbish. We worked as a team.  After the beach clean up we walked to Corbett Park and had a sausage and played games.
